Plan SAP for Singapore and regional operations

MTC designs globalisation for the SAP ERP template, group data and headquarters integration across countries, together with localisation for Singapore GST, InvoiceNow, statutory reporting, banking, integrations and operational readiness.

MTC’s Singapore team leads solution design and delivery coordination, engaging regional support centres and relevant LinkedWorld member firms for the countries in scope.

MTC global service network

MTC operates 14 support centres across 8 countries and regions and coordinates relevant LinkedWorld member firms when additional in-country ERP, statutory or localisation knowledge is required. The alliance spans 60+ countries.

Globalisation and localisation in a coordinated SAP programme

Globalisation defines how the ERP template, data and group controls operate across countries. Localisation addresses the tax, statutory reporting, e-invoicing, language, currency, banking and data requirements of each market. MTC coordinates both areas in the delivery programme.

Globalisation

Group template and headquarters integration

Roll the selected SAP ERP template out from Singapore, connect the local entity to a group system abroad and give headquarters reconciled data for consolidation. B1, Public Edition and Private Edition support different levels of subsidiary and group complexity.

Localisation

Singapore GST, InvoiceNow, statutory reporting and grant support

Plan Singapore tax and e-invoicing as a coordinated workstream: GST and IRAS reporting, the phased InvoiceNow/Peppol requirement, applicable grant preparation and country coverage for later expansion.

Product choice within a group template

Product choice follows entity complexity, group architecture, standardisation and local scope. Master data, consolidation, access, interfaces and support standards must remain consistent even when subsidiaries use different ERP products.

SAP Business One

A practical subsidiary or growing-business layer in which MTC combines SAP country localisation, business extensions and headquarters integration into a repeatable operating model.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

A standardised multi-country template when entities can adopt public-cloud processes and govern local deltas within clean-core boundaries.

SAP Cloud ERP Private

A complex group core where broader control, migration, industry scope and country integrations require a coordinated transformation programme.

Connect Singapore operations with the group system

For a Singapore entity that reports to a group abroad, the programme must keep local operations and group requirements aligned. MTC coordinates both parts whether headquarters is in Japan, the United States, Europe, China or another market.

Connect to head office

Link the Singapore books to a group SAP system abroad so consolidation, intercompany processing and reporting stay consistent across the group.

Reusable group template and country deltas

A two-tier ERP model defines how headquarters and subsidiaries share architecture, data and controls. Each rollout uses the approved group template, records local requirements and completes country-specific testing.

Regional expansion from Singapore

Use Singapore as the regional base to roll out across Asia-Pacific in waves, with local statutory books in each country and consolidated reporting at group level.

Cross-border integration delivery

MTC designs and delivers the cross-border interfaces, including data mapping, controls, testing, reconciliation and ongoing support across the connected systems.

Singapore localisation scope

MTC brings Singapore tax, statutory reporting, e-invoicing, banking and data requirements into the ERP design, then delivers the configuration, integrations, tests, controls and professional coordination needed for go-live.

GST & IRAS reporting

Map Singapore tax, accounting and statutory-reporting requirements to the selected SAP ERP, then deliver the required configuration, reports, integrations, testing and operating procedures.

InvoiceNow / Peppol e-invoicing

The requirement started in November 2025 for qualifying newly incorporated voluntary registrants and April 2026 for all new voluntary registrants. From April 2028 it covers new compulsory registrants and existing GST businesses with annual supplies up to S$200,000; the thresholds rise to S$1 million in 2029 and S$4 million in 2030, with the remaining businesses covered in 2031.

Grant application support

MTC helps prepare the solution scope, quotation and project information for the applicable grant activity, and checks the current requirements before an application or a contractual or payment commitment. PSG closes on 29 September 2026; new grant applications move to EDGE from 30 September 2026. Existing PSG submissions and projects continue under their approved process.

Beyond Singapore

For each rollout country, MTC combines SAP localisation, e-invoicing and compliance capabilities, process design, systems integration and local professional requirements in an integrated delivery plan.
